Taxation Specialist Ref TS01

We are seeking an Accountant who would like to grow his/her career in the more specialised tax advisory and consulting areas, taking on a range of assignments and working alongside the Christchurch Tax Director in developing new and existing client relationships.

We see this role ideally suiting Accountants who have qualified and to date have established themselves in a business services role, but who are now seeking that opportunity to also develop further in the taxation consulting areas.

As such this role offers a balance of work assignments across both business advisory and taxation, with a high level of client involvement. Supported with in house training, Staples Rodway can also offer longer-term scope for career advancement and so we are looking to identify ambitious and capable individuals who are proactive in developing their careers, while looking to gain the broadest range of experience.

Senior Accountant Ref SA01

This accounting and client advisory role interfaces with one of the Directors and it is envisaged that it will develop quickly to take direct responsibility in managing a group of clients and undertaking a full range of business advisory services assignments.

We see this role ideally suiting CA qualified Accountants who are established at senior levels where they are managing a full range of accounting assignments, but not necessarily in a role that offers the scope to move through to that next level.

In the medium term we are looking for a new Director to join the practice and so our preference will be for candidates who are career motivated and who believe thatcan offer or develop the broader business development, leadership and relationship management skills that would see them successful at that higher level.

In the shorter term this will be a very challenging and rewarding opportunity.
